PTCB EXECUTIVE FELLOWSHIP

Association Leadership and Management

The PTCB Executive Fellowship is a paid 12-month program that provides the fellow with hands-on training in all aspects of non-profit organization leadership and management. The program provides a recent pharmacy graduate with an excellent opportunity to impact the profession.

Working directly with PTCB staff, volunteers, and stakeholders, the fellow gains an understanding of the critical role pharmacy technicians play in medication safety and an evolving pharmacy landscape. The fellow gains experience working with all PTCB teams, including partnership development, certification operations, test development, marketing and communications, and finance.

The Executive Fellow works remotely with the opportunity to travel throughout the year.

Learn More About PTCB

“Completing the Executive Fellowship with PTCB was a remarkable experience that gave me the opportunity to learn how organizations can best support the practice of pharmacy, across all professions and settings. As a former technician myself, working with the PTCB staff to support technician practice was both challenging and fulfilling. The fellowship also afforded me with numerous opportunities to explore non-traditional pharmacy careers, for which I am eternally grateful as it allowed me to connect with pharmacy leaders across the country. The PTCB Executive Fellowship truly is a unique opportunity and one that I would highly encourage any pharmacy graduate to pursue.”

“Completing post-graduate training at PTCB as the inaugural Executive Fellow was an amazing and life-changing experience. The opportunity allowed me to network and meet leaders, technicians, pharmacists, and students from across the industry who were working on unique initiatives such as pharmacy technician immunizations, technician product verification, and more! It is not often in life you get an opportunity that will set you up for an awesome kickstart to your career, so I would highly recommend this experience to anyone considering a non-traditional pathway.”
