Program Format and Structure

Our program, offered twice per year and sponsored in full by PTCB with no cost to participants, offers a unique blend of self-paced learning, interactive virtual sessions, and one in-person session led by esteemed PLEI leaders. Participants will engage in 14 self-paced lessons delivered through videos, organized into five modules covering Vision, “Response-ability,” Integrity, Grit, and Results Through Others.

Course Content

  • Vision - This unit covers the two different types of vision leaders must have, describes the natural human tendencies that cloud our vision and create dangerous “blind spots”, and provides practical tools to help you expand both types of vision.
  • “Response-ability” - This unit reviews how individuals unconsciously give away their power to influence the people and circumstances around them, and presents a simple paradigm to help you recognize when you’re giving your power away, and how to take it back.
  • Integrity - This unit will discuss how people and teams work best when they are "whole and complete", how breakdowns in integrity commonly occur, and how to prevent such breakdowns from occurring.
  • Grit - This unit introduces another framework to help leaders discover the domain in which they are best positioned to lead, and then how to get in that game and stay in the game despite the inevitable challenges and setbacks.
  • Results Through Others - This unit will cover how great leaders get great results, and specifically how they achieve them by empowering others through a "whole person approach".

“This course encapsulates many concepts of leadership that usually take excessive amounts of time and energy to discover through trial and error, accelerating personal development.”

- Mark Brunton, CPhT, MSHE
