PTCB collaborates with 72 state pharmacy associations representing all practice settings in 46 states through our State Associate Program. Working directly with state pharmacy associations, PTCB promotes medication safety and the essential value of our credentialing programs for advancing technician careers and safe pharmacy practice.
We encourage technicians to join and become active in their state pharmacy associations. These organizations offer opportunites for PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technicians (CPhTs) to network with pharmacy professionals, complete continuing education (CE), and participate as active members to strengthen the voice of technicians.
PTCB launched the PTCB Partnership Funds Program in 2019 to award grants to state pharmacy associations to support projects that promote medication safety and advance technician roles.
