“When most people think of pharmacy technician, they don’t realize all that it entails. Where you find a pharmacist, you will always find a technician. I have the privilege of working alongside pharmacists, physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, patient care technicians, etc in the Emergency Room.

My fellow technicians and I are part of your frontline. We obtain medication histories and assist pharmacists in emergencies for ALL patients, including those with COVID-19.

While protocols have been put in place for the safety of us all, we still at times gown up beside and help care for our patients.

It truly does take a team and I’m proud of the work my fellow technicians and I are doing to make it work!”
