PTCB Earns Two TINYawards for Employee Recognition and Happiness

May 6, 2021

The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) has received 2020 awards for employee recognition and employee happiness from TINYawards®, demonstrating that PTCB employees, as measured by the TINYpulse® tool, have the highest average happiness scores and give and receive the most encouragement from each other among organizations in TINYpulse’s government and non-profit industry category. PTCB began using the TINYpulse tool in 2019 to promote communication, collaboration, and recognition among PTCB employees to advance and support their engagement and performance.

“It’s a point of pride to be an organization recognized for the happiness of our employees, and these awards are a testament to our fantastic PTCB staff and their dedication to our mission,” said William Schimmel, PTCB Executive Director and CEO. “PTCB works hard at attracting and retaining good people. We invest in our team through training, benefits, compensation, and professional development. And this isn’t something that’s happened overnight. PTCB has made it our priority to create a culture where each individual is valued for what they bring to the table, and encouraged to express and test new ideas. At PTCB, we work hard to create an environment where everyone can bring their whole self to work."
