Gain Temporary Licensure to Work in Another State
CPhTs can gain temporary licensure for employment in another state through the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) Passport program. NABP Passport submits and tracks technicians’ emergency requests for temporary state licensures or authorizations to work outside a home state. During this difficult time, employer participants enrolled in Direct Billing can save between 15% and 40% on fees for the CPhT and the CSPT credential. Direct Billing is a simple way for organizations to pay for your pharmacy technicians to earn or renew PTCB credentials. If your organization has not yet enrolled, submit a Help Center request to enroll. No further action is required for those already enrolled, and the new pricing will be reflected on the Direct Biller’s next invoice.
