Tell us about your career goals.

I was very fortunate to become a pharmacy technician early on in my life at the age of 17. I have seen the progress our profession has made and how our scope of practice has expanded exponentially. My goal in the next few years is to enter management to help those like me who want to continue succeeding.

How have PTCB’s certificates helped you along your career path, or how will they help you in the future?

I chose to get my CPhT-Adv credential as a personal goal. I like to be challenged and this was a path for me to do so. Having these certificates can help me pursue other areas in pharmacy practices that I haven't necessarily been introduced to.

What advice would you give pharmacy technicians as they explore their unique career paths?

Many employers look for certified pharmacy technicians. If you feel stuck in your career, becoming certified and obtaining certificates can open new doors for you.
