“I am an educator at Haywood Community College. I would like to recognize the eight ambitious pharmacy techs that participated in our joint program with The University of North Carolina Chapel Hill: "Pharmacy Technicians and Vaccinations: An Advanced Training Program," and became immunization and CPR certified. Haywood County is a rural community in Western North Carolina, and by becoming certified to administer shots, these techs will be able to provide much needed assistance for vaccination efforts in our community.”
