“Currently running on maybe 2 hours of sleep and three shots of espresso between my shift last night and my shift today. I would love nothing more than to get a hot meal and sleep. 

However, occasionally a patient walks up to me asking ‘Are you going to close too?’, with uncertainty in their voice. This message is for you. We will be here until one of two things happens: we are physically too tired to stand or we are not needed anymore. I don't know about you but I got some fight left in me.”
