Transplant medications are life saving, required medications and it is my honor to make sure they are covered and affordable for our patients.

I am so excited about receiving my CPhT-Adv Certification. It truly shows the skills I have as a pharmacy technician. It demonstrates to everyone that pharmacy technicians are big assets to the pharmacy world and worth so much more. I am proud to show it off.

Having the CPhT-Adv credential is opening doors for pharmacy technicians within the physician’s office and other opportunities in hospital and retail settings. Overall, this improves patient healthcare outcomes. I couldn’t be prouder to work in this profession.

I have been working in pharmacy since 2006. I learned so much doing different types of pharmacy work in retail, mail order, ER as medication history technician, and now in a transplant physician’s office, and inpatient as a transplant pharmacy technician. I use my skills in medication history daily making sure my transplant patient’s medications lists are current and up-to-date while inpatient within our hospital system and outpatient in our clinic.

I work with insurance companies with billing and prior authorizations for our patient’s medications. Transplant medications are life saving, required medications and it is my honor to make sure they are covered and affordable for our patients.
