PTCB and Federal Pharmacy

Certification and the expansion of responsibilities have empowered pharmacy technicians to practice in ground-breaking areas within the federal pharmacy system. The incorporation of certification requirements within the military parallels certification standards within the private sector and demonstrates federal pharmacy's commitment to improving patient safety and rewarding pharmacy technicians through increased pay and new career opportunities.

PTCB is honored that many of the over 425,000 pharmacy technicians certified since 1995 are part of the world's best military healthcare personnel.
