PTCB Recognizes Diane Halvorson
PTCB honored PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) of the Year Diane Halvorson, RPhTech, CPhT, of Fargo, ND, at a special luncheon event on March 26. Ms. Halvorson received a trophy and honorarium presented by PTCB Director of Strategic Alliances Miriam A. Mobley Smith, PharmD, FASHP. Fine Paper Certificate Price Reduced
Your PTCB Certificate (with wallet card) is always available for you to download and print any time free of charge by clicking ‘Print Certificate’ on your PTCB Account homepage, but if you want yours printed on fine paper and mailed to you, we have good news! PTCB has reduced the price for this service to $15 (previously $25) effective June 1. To order a fine paper certificate, log into your PTCB Account, click ‘Certificates’ on the top menu bar, and then click ‘Search’ under Product Search, and ‘Certificate Reprint’. Order a fine paper certificate.

New Certificate Design
PTCB has given your Official PTCB Certificate a fresh new look. When you print yours, along with your wallet card, you will notice the updated design released on May 15. CPhTs may access and download the certificate and wallet card from your PTCB Account for free. As always, PTCB encourages educators and employers to seek primary source verification of the certification status of a technician through the PTCB Certification Verification page at ptcb.org/verify or through Bulk Certification Verification. See the new design and read more.


State Roundup: North Dakota's Move Toward Expanding Technician Roles at the Counter

Pharmacy technicians can earn up to 2 hours of CE credit for completing this knowledge-based activity from the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy and Drug Topics. The goal of the activity is to educate pharmacists and pharmacy technicians about identifying the risks and benefits of opioid therapy.
