This CE activity, titled ‘The Flu Stops Here: Enabling Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians to Join the Fight,' was recorded at the 2018 Illinois Council of Health-System Pharmacists Annual Meeting for Open Access Home Study. The activity is open for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

This program reviews the impact of the influenza virus and vaccines, including: data on vaccine effectiveness; evidence on strategies optimizing vaccination rates; factors in product selection of vaccines; and vaccine and antiviral therapies in clinical scenarios.

Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians can earn 1.75 hours of CE credit for completing this knowledge-based activity provided by the Illinois Council of Health-System Pharmacists. The Illinois Council of Health-System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.

This Free CE will expire on Nov 14, 2019.

You will need to create an account on CESally.com to complete this program for credit. You will submit your NABP eProfile info, take a pre-test, view the video, take a post-test, and SUBMIT for credit. Follow the steps outlined in the right hand column status box as you move through each step. REMEMBER to click the “Go to Next Step” button at the bottom of the page after completing each step. After completing all the steps, click on REPORT CE to submit your credit to CPE Monitor. You will see a submission confirmation after you have successfully completed the program.
